While troubleshooting the problem with Civilization III, I was able to found an updated game installer on the Internet.

Select all folders and files and just drag-and-drop them to the newly created folderĤ. To do that, double-click the "Computer" icon and locate your CD/DVD drive with the Civilization III disk. After the restart, create a new folder on your computer, for example on Desktop, and then copy all the contents of the installation disk to it. Once you have uninstalled the game, restart the computerģ.
